happy friday all! i'm so excited for this weekend. tonight we have a dinner party with our lovely friends lara + josh (they are seriously the coolest couple ever) + tomorrow a (jungle themed) birthday party. costumes are tbd. eek.

i'm also looking forward to next weekend! my sister + her sweet lil' family will be in palm desert, so jacob + i will be driving down for the weekend. we plan on taking some pretty portraits in the desert (i've been practicing my photography skills!) so i created this pinterest board for inspiration. i really love these portraits by max wanger + these by our labor of love... you can really feel the family's energy.

ps: i can't believe how long i waited to start using pinterest. it's unbelievable how easy it is to organize your thoughts, ideas, and inspirations with this little tool! totally addicted.
