dinner with lara + josh [+ shecky the dog]

We had such a great time at Lara, Josh + Shecky-the-dog's place. Lara is an exceptional chef. She served up Moroccan Lentil Soup, yellowtail, sauteed kale, roasted cauliflower, spinach salad and an incredible apple tarte tatin... Everything was made from scratch, and was absolutely DELISH. (Also she served salad after our mains... European style... I liked that!). Lara also served up some scotch at the end of the night, which is new for me as well. I thought my Dad would be proud.

I instantly fell in love with their apartment, they have serious taste. Their antique oven is absolutely gorgeous, and I just love the furniture, the little details...  Most of their furniture actually comes from their grandparents, but they've also picked up a few things around here. They scored those dining room chairs here.

They are also getting married this summer in Tuscany... let the jealousy ensue :)

PS: Josh is also an editor at FLAUNT magazine-- absolutely amazing. I highly recommend checking it out. I wanted to frame at least 10 photos from the latest issue!
