Seeing your baby seeds sprout is such a great feeling... it's new life! I kinda feel like a mother (is that totally weird?).

obsessing over: eyeliner

I don't think I've worn eyeliner since the rainbow eye-liner trend in the early 2000's (gosh I wish there was a cooler way to say that).  It wasn't pretty.

But recently I've seen cat eyes and kitten eyes all over the place, and I keep thinking to myself how darn pretty these gals look... but I was totally too intimidated to try. Then my lady Cara assured me that it's not hard at all, and pointed me to this tutorial from The Beauty Department (by the way, what would we do without how-to tutorials?).

Well now I'm having just way too much fun with it, and have totally re-kindled my love with eyeliner! I've been meowing all over this city (cheese-ball alert).

*I've now tried a handful of brands, and I have to say that my favorite so far is Stila Waterproof Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner and my favorite drugstore liner is L'Oreal Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner.

So my friend erica is behind these adorable f notes- which not only help you spread a message of love, but also help spread awareness around [holistic] cancer prevention.  Brilliant, right? I created this one for their cause. I'm a last minute gal when it comes to holidays. For the most part, J and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day or anniversaries. Lame- I know- but it's true to us.
